The First MiniMasters Family Day

After learning about the lines, shapes and colors in William Sommer’s watercolor portraits and creating works of their own, our preschool artists and their families were invited to a day at the museum.  We were so excited to meet family members and show them what we've been working on in class.

Our first MiniMasters Student Exhibition!
Student artwork was on display in the museum's lobby
During the MiniMasters Family Day, families made paintings together, viewed their artworks on display, toured the museum galleries and helped The University of Akron Graduate Percussion Ensemble drum up some noise!

Special thanks to Tuesday Musical Association for organizing the fun and interactive percussion performance!
